The Simrad IS35 Digital Gauge is used to display engine and vessel related data on the network provided by NMEA2000 compatible engines and sensors. The IS35 features a bright, full colour 3.5” LCD display which makes it easier to see menus and screen detail in both full sunlight and night operation. The display gives you simple menu navigation allowing you to easily swap between pages using arrow keys, page cycle with configurable times and the menu button can also double as a backlight control. The IS35 also runs on is NOS (Navico Operating System) platform so any user that is familiar with Navico products will quickly and easily understand the user interface. You are also given the ability to customise your pages suited to you and the device can also be set to automatically scroll through the pages ranging from 1 to 10 seconds. The IS35 will automatically detect available sensors on the network and display the most relevant information on the corresponding pages. The type of data that is available to you depends on what sensors and transducers you have on your NMEA 2000 network. The IS35 can be used as an engine display for most types of marine engines, ether via a NMEA2000 gateway, or a J1939 to NMEA2000 convertor. The IS35 comes with 5 pre-configured pages for the most commonly used information when operating vessels. The information on these pages is automatically displayed from an internal hierarchy of available data. The hierarchy was developed from market and customer surveys about which information the boat owners themselves consider the most important information to see on their displays.
