Product Overview
Garmin GMR™ 434 xHD3 4' Open Array Radar and Pedestal | K10-00012-24
The sea is calling. Get out there with the scanning power of the Garmin GMR™ 434 and GMR 436 xHD3 series open-array radars. Combining high-definition imaging with our latest platform technology, these robust 4-kW magnetron radars — in 4’ and 6’ versions — offer new levels of confidence, clarity and performance for mariners cruising or fishing offshore.
• Scan averaging, a first for Garmin magnetron radar, helps filter out sea clutter and interference, providing boaters with enhanced detection of consistent targets
• Pulse expansion and angular target size processing optimize on-screen object shapes at all range scales
• The radar’s true echo trails feature displays a historical “trail” of boats on the water, removing relative motion influence to help users quickly identify moving targets
• Auto bird gain and the bird mode preset feature help users locate flocks of birds at the water’s surface — where there are often fish to be found below
• Overlay radar on your chart screen as a single display or split screen with independent range settings
• The reliable open-array drive motor offers low-noise operation
• For dependability in harsh conditions, a commercial grade 100-knot wind rating is available with optional equipment
• Radar detection range extends from 20 meters out to 72 nautical miles
