The Simrad R2009 Radar Control Unit is a 9” portrait dedicated radar display with high brightness for outside use. Provides simple, low impact installation with no separate processor and embedded console design, this radar display also allows for NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 network connectivity. Features include highly advanced digital auto tuning system, latest generation anti-sea clutter STC, ease-to-use with 8 direct-access menu keys and superior target resolution with advanced beam sharpening technology (available with 4G and Halo). In addition, The display can be controlled remotely with the optional O2000 wired remote controller.

The Simrad 4G™ Broadband Radar provides 50% more range and features Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology delivering superior target detection and viewing separation, ease of operation, and higher level of navigational peace-of-mind. With Beam Sharpening, the 4G™ Radar can get target separation as good as a 3.5ft. open array radar and makes this radar the words first and only dome radar with beam sharpening. See targets up to 32nm away, and large storm cells at more than 17nm away thanks to improved range capabilities and its zero radiation hazard makes it the safest choice for boats, including fishing, sports/cruising and sail boats.
